Attendees at the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) (May 29-30) were intrigued as they descended the escalators into the Toronto Hilton conference area and saw the celebratory balloon archway leading into a dedicated history room marking the association’s 100th anniversary. 

The room was a first-ever feature of the annual gathering, and included artifacts, photographs, an interactive game and virtual yearbook, and plenty of opportunities to reminisce with colleagues while taking in the association’s history. 

And a rich history it is. 

Reaction to the room was so positive, in fact, that a replica will be staged permanently at RNAO home office for visitors to enjoy during the 100th year and beyond. 

This was just one of many ways RNAO celebrated its anniversary at the AGM, aptly themed "100 years of action and impact." The RNAO “boutique” offered exclusive anniversary merchandise, including hoodies, T-shirts, water bottles and mugs. These items are still on offer and available for purchase through the membership department. AGM attendees also received some free swag, including a terrific anniversary bag, pen, pin, visor and branded case in which to carry glasses – all marked with RNAO 100.
