What nursing means to me
To me nursing is an adventure. Shortly after I started my career in obstetrics in Montréal, my husband joined the Canadian Armed Forces. I followed him throughout Canada to Ontario, Québec and the Northwest Territories (where a part of my heart still is). Nursing allowed me to meet and care for so many people in many different settings, hospitals, homes, shelters and even a few jails. My adventure has included lots of travel. Through my nursing skills I was able to also meet and care for patients outside of Canada.
