(From L to R): Kate Auger, NP, Eli El-Chantiry, Ottawa city councillor, Marci Auger, Ornge paramedic, and Nathan Kelly, RNAO region 3 representative on the board of directors, were in Ottawa late last year as part of the Emergency Medical Assistance Team (EMAT) response to two tornadoes that touched down. EMAT deployed its Mental Health Response Team (MHRT) to provide support to the affected communities at the request of Ontario Premier Doug Ford.
