The clock on her computer reads past 1 a.m. It’s another late night for Janet Montague, this time finishing a literature review she needs to send to her supervisor. Between teaching at Centennial College, serving as president of the Registered Nurses’ Foundation of Ontario (RNFOO), co-chairing anti-racism initiatives with the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing, and completing her PhD, Montague’s days rarely slow down. “It’s busy. But it’s meaningful work, and that’s what keeps me going,” she says. That commitment has earned Montague national recognition.
