Her favourite classical composer is Frederic Chopin.
She is an avid reader of historical fiction and loved The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah.
One of her favourite musicals is Les Misérables by Victor Hugo.
Persistence, growth and connections assist Jocelyn Hezekiah in her 43-year nursing career.  When Jocelyn Hezekiah looks back at her long career, she doesn’t harbour any regrets. “I went into nursing, loved it and never gave it another thought,” exclaims Hezekiah who celebrated her 91st birthday this year. Why did she choose nursing? At 10 years old, at the request of her mother, she visited the sick in her neighbourhood on the island of Trinidad by going to their homes and helping them. That experience was foundational, providing the compassion and desire to help others that have been hallmarks of her entire life.
